I wish you could smell my pot of tea right now! It is a black tea called Chocolate Crunch with hints of coconut, vanilla, and chocolate of course. A few weeks back we visited The Domain shopping center in Austin and noticed the cutest little shop tucked in a corner beside a Starbucks called The Steeping Room. My husband went in for a gander and came out with two packages, The Chocolate Crunch and Three Blossoms Oolong (violet, lavender and rose). I have yet to try the Three Blossoms Oolong so I can't tell you much about that one, but my goodness the smell and taste of Chocolate Crunch is completely delightful. On top of all that goodness it's organic! I've been trying to avoid caffeine. I haven't had a soda which is huge for me. I've only had one cup of coffee in the last week which is also a pretty big deal. Most of my teas have no caffeine however, this Chocolate Crunch does have a moderate amount of caffeine in it so I think I'm going to replace it with my normal cup of coffee in the mornings.
The Steeping Room serves breakfast, lunch, dinner or "tea time," with something for everyone: natural meats, organic dairy, cage-free eggs as well as gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan selections. I can't vouch for their food yet but I sure hope to write about it in the near future :)
